AddUp was created by two industrial groups, Michelin and Fives, to develop metal Additive Manufacturing (AM) machines to meet their requirements for high quality, serial production of maraging steel tire mold inserts. The collaboration sought to develop a Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF) machine that could build these inserts and industrial parts with quality, accuracy, and repeatability. Today, Michelin produces more than 1 million tire mold inserts annually with metal AM LPBF technology.

From R&D and application development to prototyping and serial production, the AddUp group works with clients to provide customized industrial metal AM solutions.

ARBURG has nearly 100 years of experience manufacturing systems for plastics processing. Specializing in molding, turnkey systems, and additive manufacturing.
