Mr. O'Driscoll is a project manager in the Reactor Rulemaking and Project Management Branch at the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. One of his responsibilities is the ASME Code Edition rulemakings. He has 14 years' experience in the NRC and has held several positions in the agency to include: project manager in the Division of Policy and Rulemaking in the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation, reactor systems engineer and technical assistant in the Division of Safety Systems and Risk Assessment in the Office of New Reactors. Mr. O'Driscoll joined the rulemaking branch in 2018. Before joining the NRC, Mr. O’Driscoll was a System Engineer at the Indian Point Energy Center. He has 6 years active duty experience as a Surface Warfare Officer in the U.S. Navy, and is a retired Commander in the US Navy Reserve. He graduated from State University of NY, Maritime College with a BE in Mechanical Engineering. He has a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Manhattan College.
