Speaking Opportunities

Connecting the community and sharing expertise, the Robotics for Inspection & Maintenance Summit taking place virtually on December 8-9, 2021, offers a variety of speaking opportunities.

Submit a proposal to speak at the Robotics for Inspection & Maintenance Summit to connect with robotics, data analytics, inspection, and maintenance leaders. Share a case study, new applications, new robot platforms, new sensor packages, or new data management tools and connect with the community during this virtual event. 

With a combination of general sessions, breakout tracks, panel discussions, and technical presentations, topics of greatest interest include: 

  • Inspection Crawler and Ground Robots 
  • Inspection Submersible Robots 
  • Inspection UAS and Drones Robots 
  • Sensors and End Effectors Development 
  • Maintenance and Repair Robots 
  • Data Analytics and Digital

For the technical conference sessions, you can submit for: 

  • ASSET OWNER/OPERATOR TALK: A presentation to share your challenges, needs, and perspectives on increasing deployment of robotic solutions to fulfill your inspection and maintenance requirements. A 30-minute session consisting of a 20-minute prepared presentation followed by 10 minutes of Q&A with the audience. 
  • INDUSTRY CHALLENGE PRESENTATION: topics will be chosen from challenges identified during Asset Owner/Operator Talks given at the May 2021 Summit - to be announced by June 30, 2021. A 30-minute session consisting of a 20-minute prepared presentation followed by 10 minutes of Q&A with the audience. 
  • PRESENTATION: A technical presentation for a 30-minute session consisting of a 20-minute prepared presentation followed by 10 minutes of Q&A with the audience. 
  • 5-MINUTE CASE STUDY: Focused on prototyping and development, your 5-minute case study presentation will be combined with two to three additional case studies for a speed round session. Case study presentations will be followed by a Q&A session with all case study presenters. 
  • PANEL DISCUSSION: Several 30-minute Q&A panel discussions are planned. If you are a technology user and would like to be a panelist, please submit a proposal indicating your topic interest area and any information you would like to add to the discussion. NOTE: This is an all-discussion session with no presentations.
