The ASME 2020 Turbo Expo virtual event presented by IGTI will take place September 21 – 25, 2020.

Your registration will include the opportunity to attend the keynote address, plenary sessions, technical presentations, a virtual student poster competition, a virtual exhibition, networking, and more.  All registrants will receive access to the online final papers. 



  • Confirm your existing ASME membership status now or join/renew your membership to register at the reduced member rate.

  • Ensure that your Username and Password is the same for BOTH your paper submission account as well as your membership account.

Presenting Author Registration Deadline: August 6, 2020

Please note that it is a requirement that the presenting author registers for the TE20 Virtual Event at the normal registration rate. The special discount for organizers cannot be used by presenting authors.

**Student Registration Rates
Student registration rates are only available to undergraduate and graduate students who are enrolled full time and have not yet received their Ph.D. Post-docs may not register as students. Students who have graduated after the original date of the London conference (June 26) and before the beginning of the virtual event (September 21) qualify for the student registration rate. Persons who register at the Student Member or Student Non-Member rate will be required to submit current valid student identification to ASME. If the identification is not validated, the attendee will need to register at one of the non-student registration categories.

Organizers such as Committee Chair, Track Chair, Vanguard Chairs, Point Contacts, Session Chairs and Session Co-Chairs who do not present a paper qualify for an exceptional discount that is supported by the IGTI. To receive this discount, please contact

Cancellation Policy: There will be no refunds offered for virtual conference registrations.

Substitutions: Registrations may not be transferred or substituted at any time.
