Ahmed Ehattab

Dr. Elhattab is a licensed Structural Engineer with over 15 years of experience in the structural engineering profession. He has led multiple projects in the nuclear sector, focusing on Generation III and Generation IV nuclear reactors in collaboration with U.S.-based developers such as GE Hitachi, NuScale, and Kairos Power. He is currently leading the advanced modular reactor design scope at Kairos Power in preparation for the deployment of Hermes I and Hermes II. Dr. Elhattab is also a recognized expert in structural engineering research, with over 500 academic citations on publications that advance innovative technologies in the civil and structural engineering field. In addition, he is an active member of the ACI 349 Committee, serves on the ASCE Natural Hazards Review journal, and member of the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI).
