Kerri Kavanagh

Ms. Kavanagh has been with the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission for over 30 years. Ms. Kavanagh currently is the branch chief of the Quality Assurance and Vendor Inspection Branch, DRO/NRR and has served in the role since 2011. In this role, she directs the reviews of new and changes to quality assurance program descriptions and oversees the implementation of the vendor inspection program. She serves as one of the NRC representatives supporting the development of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Codes and Standards, Section III, Section XI, and NQA-1 and is a member of the ASME accreditation committees of Nuclear Certification and the Board of Conformity Assessment. In addition, Ms. Kavanagh serves on the Committee on Nuclear Regulatory Activities (CNRA) Working Group Supply Chain (WGSUP), and the chair of the SMR Regulator' Forum Manufacturing, Construction, Commissioning and Operations Working Group.
