Spencer Daw serves as the Director of Quality at Idaho National Laboratory (INL) and holds the prestigious title of INL Fellow. With over 15 years of experience in procurement engineering within the Department of Energy (DOE), Spencer has established himself as a nationally recognized expert in the procurement of safety significant, safety class, and safety-related items.

Spencer is a member of the ASME NQA-1 main committee and the sub-committee on Engineering and Procurement Processes (ScEPP.) He also chairs the EFCOG Procurement Engineering Task Group. His contributions include publishing EFCOG White Papers and participating in EPRI document development teams.

Currently, Spencer plays a crucial role in INL's National Reactor Innovation Center program, where he assists reactor developers in transitioning from design to fabrication and start-up, facilitating the successful deployment of advanced reactor technologies.

Before his tenure in the nuclear industry, Spencer held significant roles in the aerospace and electronics sectors, most notably as the New Product Introduction Manager for the Boeing 787 landing gear system.

Spencer holds a Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering Technology from Brigham Young University and a Master's Degree in Engineering and Technology Management from Washington State University. He is also a licensed Professional Engineer.
