
William Cleary

William Cleary is a Lead Engineer at Westinghouse Electric Company, LLC (WEC). He has held manufacturing and technology positions in the petroleum, steel, and chemical industries. Currently, he’s leading efforts within WEC's Digital and Innovation group to develop Additive Manufacturing (AM) for production of nuclear fuel components. He's led the world's first project to produce, irradiate, and evaluate AM materials for use in the nuclear reactor environment as well as production of the first AM component installed in a commercial reactor. William has a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from the University of Illinois and a Master’s Degree in Engineering Management from Eastern Michigan University.
