2021 FPMC – VIDEO SUBMISSION DEADLINE: AUGUST 19, 2021!

Thank you again for your participation in the Virtual International Fluid Power and Motion Control Conference which will be held on October 19-21, 2021. This year's conference will include all live content, including featured keynotes, panels, workshops, and tutorials.

ASME requires all presenting authors to meet the following conditions to participate: at least one author of the presentation must be registered, a signed speaker release form and a 12-minute pre-recorded video in .mp4 or .mov format.

Please log in to your author account to sign the form and upload your video by August 19, 2021.

Instructions

To sign your speaker release form, go to "Needs Attention" and select either US Federal Government form or the form for One/Joint/Designated non-US government authors. Then sign the appropriate form digitally and click "save."

To upload your video, click "file upload" on the field below the speaker release and upload the video file in the indicated format. Click "save and finalize" when done to finalize your submission. All videos must be in .mp4 or .mov format.

Speaker Registration

ASME requires at least one author of the presenting to register for the conference and pay the full registration rate (student rate does not apply). If you have not yet registered, please visit the FPMC registration page. Choose the author registration option, use the same email as on your author account and manually enter your paper number if it doesn't autopopulate.

Format of Technical Sessions for: FPMC 2021

Concurrent Technical Sessions: ASME staff will host concurrent technical sessions on all three days of the conference. There will be up to two parallel sessions at a time. Each session will consist of sequential airing of recorded presentations, followed by a question-and-answer forum with all presenting authors. At least one author for each paper needs to be present online, with audio and video, for the question-and-answer session.

Each live session will be recorded and available to all conference registrants for 3 months after the conference. Q&A sessions will NOT be recorded.
