Program

Sponsored jointly by the University of Bath and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), this international symposium provides a forum for leading-edge activities in the field of fluid power and motion control. The Symposium should be of great interest and value to all practitioners and researchers in the fluid power, power transmission and motion control community. The Symposium will include the Koski Lecture, presented by the 2022 Koski medal awardee. FPMC is held in the USA and at the University of Bath, UK on alternating years. The 2022 venue is the University of Bath, England.

The University of Bath Centre for Power Transmission and Motion Control (PTMC) and ASME Fluid Power Systems Technology Division (FPST) invite papers in the following topics:

  • Zero carbon technologies
  • Drives, transmissions and actuators
  • Components and systems
  • Efficient and intelligent systems
  • Modelling and Simulation
  • Control
  • Smart fluids and materials
  • Fault analysis and diagnosis
  • Noise and vibration
  • System design
