Caldwell and Preload share an unmatched history of tank design and construction. Caldwell, founded in 1887, has built over 6,000 tanks and is the only ISO 9001:2015 certified tank builder in the market. Caldwell specializes in materials of construction such as carbon steel, stainless steel, and various alloys. Preload, founded in 1930, pioneered the development of the first wire-wound prestressed concrete tanks. Since then, Preload's innovation has led to the design and construction techniques used across the industry today – including those used in over 4000 Preload tanks.

In 2015, Caldwell and Preload came together as affiliated companies under common ownership to better serve our customers and develop new business within our industry. We are the only tank provider that can offer concrete and steel solutions under one roof. This vast breadth of experience uniquely positions us to serve our customers during scope development.
