Dr. Kyle Metzroth is currently the Xe-100 Lead Plant Architect, responsible for the integration of Xe-100 design elements and assuring the design meets its customer and strategic goals. Dr. Metzroth has also served as the safety analysis manager for the Xe-100 and the lead for implementing the NEI 18-04 Risk-Informed, Performance Based licensing process. Prior to joining X-energy, Dr. Metzroth worked for MPR Associates working with clients in advanced nuclear, the operating nuclear fleet, and DOE laboratories. Additionally, he also worked for Naval Nuclear Laboraties as a design engineer on several classes of nuclear submarines. Dr. Metzroth has his PhD in Nuclear Engineering from The Oho State University where he specialized in nuclear safety and probabilistic risk assessment applications.
