Mr. Pressburger has over 40 years of project management and technical expertise in the nuclear power industry. He is the vice chair of ASME's Board on Nuclear Codes and Standards (BNCS), chair of the BNCS Task Group on Advanced Reactors, and he serves on several other committees. He is currently the Sargent & Lundy Director for Nuclear Siting and is responsible for site selection/characterization and ER/PSAR/COLA work. He manages Sargent & Lundy's design of TRISO-X's Fuel Fabrication Facility and licensing effort and Sargent & Lundy's ER/PSAR support of the Long Mott Project in Texas. He is also the project manager for the design of Eden Radioisotopes' Isotope Production Facility and ER/PSAR project. He is participating on the EPRI/NEI initiative, Advanced Reactor Roadmap. He was the project manager for the successful site selection and technology assessment recently completed for Nuclearelectrica in Romania. Prior to that he was Sargent & Lundy's project manager for the UAMPS Owner's Engineer project, and he also managed the successful SHINE PSAR and ER projects that culminated in the construction permit award. He managed Sargent & Lundy's scope for COLA support for the Nine Mile Point 3 and Bell Bend Nuclear Power Plant EPR projects for UniStar Nuclear Energy, where he also led the interface with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
