Tom Ruggiero
ASME Fellow
Tom Ruggiero is an ASME Fellow, and a Professional Engineer who has been involved with the Nuclear Industry since 1974. His career spanned from designing plant systems, specification and sizing of mechanical equipment and mechanical system analysis, system modification and troubleshooting. He has been a participant in ASME Codes and Standards activities since 1975. Since that time, he held levels of increasing responsibility and management such as Chairman of Qualification of Mechanical Equipment, Chairman of O&M SC Pumps, Ad Hoc Member of the Board For Nuclear Codes and Standards, Member of the ASME O&M Executive Committee, and Vice Chairman of the O&M Committee. He has presented several papers on various Engineering Subjects to various audiences including the ASME – NRC IST Symposiums.
He is currently a member of ASME QME, ASME O&M, O&M Executive Committee, OM SC Pumps and, ASME O&M New Reactors.
