Dr. Yanli Wang is a Senior Research and Development Staff member at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. She is recognized for her expertise in assessment of high temperature mechanical properties of advanced structural and functional materials.
Dr. Wang is actively involved with advancing ASME Nuclear Codes and Standards, representing ORNL and DOE NE programs. She is the recipient of ASME Section III 2020 and 2023 Certification of Acclamation Award for Outstanding Service & Technical Excellence in ASME Code development. She chairs multiple ASME Code Committees in Section III Division5, including the Working Group on Creep-Fatigue and Negligible creep, the Task-Group on Alloy 709 Code Case, and the Task-group on Class A Design Rules rewrite. She also serves as the Secretary to Subgroup on High Temperature Reactors under Section III.
In 2020, she received the Secretary of the Department of Energy Achievement Award in recognition of her exceptional contributions to Alloy 617 ASME Code Qualification.
