Registration and Paper Submission
- Registration is required prior to uploading your final paper.
- At least one author from each paper must register at the author rate.
- Papers MUST be presented only by an Author on that paper. No exceptions.
- Papers presented by a Non-Author (of that paper) will NOT be published in the conference proceedings.

- Rates are based on ASME membership… irrespective of author status.
- Attendees who pay the Non-Member registration rate will be offered a 4 month trial ASME Membership (complimentary) following the conference.

Avoid Delays!
- Confirm your existing ASME membership status now, or join/renew to receive the member rate for the conference registration.
- Contact customercare@asme.org for more information.
- Allow approximately 1 week to process/renew memberships.
- Ensure that your Username and Password is the same for BOTH your paper submission account as well as your membership account.
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR AUTHORS/PRESENTER: The early registration deadline for authors/presenters and presentation only is April 22, 2024. At least one author of accepted submissions must register and pay by April 22, 2024 in order to be able to submit the final paper. This option and rate will not be available after the deadline.
- Qualified students with only one submission type to the conference as a poster, may register at the student rates during Advanced registration stating April 29th.
- Student Authors who already have a co-author registered at the full rate by the April 22nd deadline and their final paper uploaded, can register themselves after April 29th at the student rate.
General registration will begin April 29th. Before then, if you are not an author, you may receive an error until all other categories are open.

Cancellation Policy: Request must be made in writing and submitted no later than June 23, 2024. A $100 processing fee will be applied to all refund requests. Refunds are NOT permitted on/after June 23, 2024.
Visas and Letters of Invitation: You will be able to request your Visa Letter of Invitation during the Registration process.
Bundle & Save: For all bundle products, ASME membership will be activated approximately 5 business days after registration.
Substitutions: Registrations may not be transferred or substituted at any time.
Student Registration Fees: Student registration rates are only available to undergraduate and graduate students who are enrolled full time and have not yet received their Ph.D. Post-docs may not register as students. IDs must be presented on site.
Presentation Policy: All scheduled presentations MUST be formally presented on-site. "Technical Publication" type presentations will be published after the conference, only if the on-site presentation is done by an Author or Co-Author of that paper. "Technical Presentations" are not scheduled to be published.
Badge Pick-Up: All badges must be picked-up onsite. Photo identification is required for badge pick-up at the on-site registration desk. Full Payment is required to attend. Badges will not be given to anyone with an outstanding payment.
