As investment in clean energy technology accelerates, hydrogen infrastructure is increasingly considered an important element of a diverse renewable energy portfolio. Large-scale hydrogen infrastructure is an important commodity in developed economies, but the scale required to displace conventional energy storage and transmission technologies will be orders of magnitude larger. The expert workshop on large-scale gaseous hydrogen infrastructure will feature invited presentations from recognized hydrogen experts that explore the emerging needs of the engineering community to deploy hydrogen technologies at scale. The workshop is organized in key topics from storage and transmission of hydrogen to fundamentals of hydrogen-materials interactions and will include time for discussion in each session.
