Join us at MIT for the inaugural event and four days full of learning and sharing the excitement of space! Participate in Student Poster Sessions, Keynotes from Industry Leaders, Leadership and Career Training, Tutorials in Turbomachinery and Rocket Propulsion, Materials, Additive Manufacturing, Orbital Mechanics, and Moon Lander Design.
Provide an unparalleled and unprecedented ecosystem and platform for knowledge exchange and career planning. This includes multiyear engagement to create workforce training modules spanning all skill levels, from high school to professional.
- Bring together a mixed constellation of participants at each event to facilitate space community building and engagement, i.e., industry, academia, government focusing on exciting and educating the next generation via innovative activities.
- Involve smaller venues, that provide a more intimate setting to focus on pre-competitive sharing of information to create roadmaps and policy and to directly improve diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).
- Build on a curriculum like structure that ensures continuous mentoring and coaching and employ immersion learning by allowing junior members to participate in professional events shadowing experts and leaders in the field. Members will "graduate" after certain number of venues, new cohorts will be "admitted", and "alumni" will be graduated.
