ASME DRIVN 2027

ASME DRIVN (pronounced "driven") brings together engineers and researchers working across land- and sea-based transportation systems. The conference spans a broad range of propulsion and mobility technologies - including electrification, internal combustion engines (ICE), hybrid systems, autonomy, safety, and sustainability. ASME DRIVN is a technology-focused forum featuring cutting-edge research papers, high-impact presentations, and engaging panel discussions with influential leaders, along with recognition of innovators shaping the future of transportation and energy systems.

For longtime ICE Forward participants, much will feel familiar. You can continue submitting your work to the technical tracks you know and value. At the same time, ASME DRIVN expands the technical program to include electrification, safety, life-cycle analysis, and other emerging and established transportation topics, reflecting the evolving needs of modern mobility systems.

By uniting engineers from across the transportation ecosystem, ASME DRIVN aims to advance a global mobility system that is sustainable, affordable, and practical—grounded in rigorous engineering and informed by real-world impact.
