DRIVN 2026
ASME DRIVN (pronounced "driven") brings together engineers and researchers working across multiple modes of transportation, including land and sea, and encompassing all internal combustion engine (ICE) technologies and applications. DRIVN is a technology-focused forum that features cutting-edge research papers, insightful technical presentations, engaging panel discussions with influential leaders, and recognition of innovators shaping the transportation landscape.
For longtime ICE Forward participants, much will feel familiar. You can continue submitting your work to the technical tracks you know and value. At the same time, DRIVN expands the technical program to include electrification, safety, life-cycle analysis, and other emerging and established transportation topics, reflecting the evolving needs of modern mobility systems.
Those interested in helping organize technical symposia or panel sessions are encouraged to complete the TSD Feedback Form and contribute to shaping the program. By uniting engineers from across the transportation ecosystem, DRIVN aims to advance a global mobility system that is sustainable, affordable, and practical—grounded in rigorous engineering and informed by real-world impact.
Please save the date for September 14–16, 2026, and plan to join us in Detroit, where engineers will be DRIVN to shape the future of how people and goods move across land and sea. We look forward to seeing you there.
