ES Career Support Award

ASME's Solar Energy Division and Advanced Energy Systems Division are pleased to offer this award designed to support and broaden participation in the Energy Sustainability Conference.

Submission Deadline: April 25, 2025


The ES Career Support Award is designed to support scholars who may have more barriers to attendance than others. It is open to scholars in need of financial support for conference registration and scholars from traditionally underserved institutions and groups.

For the Energy Sustainability conference, underserved institutions include predominantly undergraduate institutions, Historically Black Colleges and Universities, Hispanic-Serving Institutions, Native American-Serving Institutions, and Institutions in the Global South.

Awardees* will receive a conference registration discount of 25% off the member registration fee and are encouraged to expand their participation in the SED and AESD divisions through the division technical committees and/or in the organization of the 2026 Energy Sustainability conference.

Scholars with demonstrated financial need will be given first priority when selecting award recipients.

The ES Author/Presenter registration deadline is April 15, 2025. At least one author must register and pay by April 15, 2025 or their submission will be removed from the program. Please visit the ASME Policy Page for a complete list of Presentation Requirements.
