The Who's Who Video Awards is to provide opportunities for research groups and labs in the fluids engineering community to showcase their research and educational efforts. The Awards will be selected among the uploaded video presentations. The awards will be given in each track and assessed by each of the Technical Committees who organize the corresponding track. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top (3) winners in each track. 1st place = $500, 2nd place = $250, 3rd place = $100
Entry Requirements for the Who's Who Video Contest
- Please log-in and submit a short ~300 abstract/summary describing the entry that describes the images or video and how they were obtained. DEADLINE TO SUBMIT YOUR ABSTRACTS IS EXTENDED to 11:59 PM ET on June 1, 2021..
- Submit by the Abstract due date to (Track 10)
- Once accepted, you will receive a notification and be required to log back in and upload your video submission. File specifications are below.
Video specifications: Suggested length 2 minutes (120 seconds) and not to exceed 4 minutes, preferred high-definition recording UHD (3840x2160), QHD (2560x1440) or FHD (1920x1080), also acceptable is 720p. Video format: *.mp4 or *.mov. The size of the video should not exceed 1 GIG.
Competition and Awards: Each Technical Committee will select outstanding entries, based on: (1) Impact of the content on the FED community, and (2) The quality of the video presentation. Please ensure that the FINAL FRAME of your video includes your name(s), institution and contact details.
The best three entries will receive a cash prize and a certificate. Prizes for the top three winners are as follows: $500 for 1st place, $250 for 2nd place, and $100 for 3rd place. At least one member responsible for each competition video entry must register and be present at FEDSM2021.
