The ASME FEDSM 2022 Conference is to be held at the Intercontinental Toronto Centre in Toronto, Canada. Accordingly it is subject to the laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to Covid-19 of the Country of Canada and the City of Toronto. These mandates are subject to change, please continuously monitor these restrictions that can be found here and here.

Registration and Paper Submission
- Registration is required prior to uploading your final paper.
- At least one author from each paper must register at the author rate, this includes student presenters.
- Papers MUST be presented only by an Author on that paper. No exceptions.
- Papers presented by a Non-Author (of that paper) will NOT be published in the conference proceedings.

- Rates are based on ASME membership… irrespective of author status.
- Attendees who pay the Non-Member registration rate will be offered a one-time complimentary trial ASME Membership following the conference, with four months of select member benefits.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR AUTHORS/PRESENTER: The early registration deadline for authors/presenters and presentation only is May 18, 2022 at the full author rate (including student presenters). At least one author of accepted submissions must register and pay by May 18, 2022 in order to be able to submit the final paper. This option and rate will not be available after the deadline.
- Student Authors who already have a co-author registered at the full rate by the May 18th deadline and their final paper uploaded, can register themselves after May 25th at the student rate.

Full Registration Includes: Access to all Technical Sessions, Plenaries, Daily Refreshments, Breakfasts, One Award Dinner and an Opening Reception
Cancellation Policy: Request must be made in writing and submitted no later than July 3, 2022. A $100 processing fee will be applied to all refund requests. Refunds are NOT permitted on/after July 3, 2022.
Substitutions: Registrations may not be transferred or substituted at any time.
Student Registration Fees: Student registration rates are only available to undergraduate and graduate students who are enrolled full time and have not yet received their Ph.D. Post-docs may not register as students.
Presentation Policy: All scheduled presentations MUST be formally presented on-site. "Technical Publication" type presentations will be published after the conference, only if the on-site presentation is done by an Author or Co-Author of that paper. "Technical Presentations" are not scheduled to be published.
