The ASME 2019 17th International Conference on Nanochannels, Microchannels and Minichannels (ICNMM2019) will be held on June 23-29, 2019 in St. Johns, Canada. The conference is intended to provide a platform for researchers to exchange information and identify research needs in this emerging area encompassing many engineering, basic sciences, and bio-medical disciplines. Both fundamental aspects including transport studies at the nano, micro, and mini scales as well as practical applications including thermal management, energy conversion, lab on a chip, and biomedical devices will be covered.

The ICNMM Program has always been filled with rich content, innovative research, and fantastic presentations and speakers.

Tracks for ICNMM 2019

Track 1: Single-Phase Flows
Track 2: Two-Phase Flows
Track 3: Pool Boiling
Track 4: Condensation and Freezing
Track 5: Evaporation, Thin Film, and Surface Tension Driven Flows
Track 6: Interfacial Phenomena on Micro and Nanoengineered Surfaces
Track 7: Conjugate Micro and Nanoscale Heat Transfer
Track 8: Electrokinetic and Dielectrophoretic Phenomena
Track 9: Transport in Biological Systems
Track 10: Transport in Membranes and Nanofluids
Track 11: Transport in Energy Systems
Track 12: Chemical Engineering in Microfluidics
Track 13: Biomedical Engineering in Microfluidics
Track 14: Industry Challenges
Track 15: Poster Session

Abstract submissions for the poster session (track 15) are still being accepted. The poster session allows attendees to learn about other presenters’ work, engage in scientific discussions, and give and receive feedback on ongoing research projects – without the spatial and temporal constraint of the parallel oral sessions. Presenters have the option to present a poster only, or present a poster in addition to their oral presentation in a different track. To gain visibility and to advertise their poster, all presenters will be given the opportunity to introduce their poster in a 1-2 minute oral “flash-presentation” directly following the Tuesday plenary session. The best student poster will be honored at the conference’s banquet.
