Dr. Meadors is an advocate and leader in STEM at all educational levels. She served on the National Association Educational Progress (NAEP) to assist in setting the Nations cut scores in Science, served as Director of National Summer Transportation Institute, and designed engineering curriculum for Exxon Mobil Bernard Harris Engineering programs. She is a member of the Higher Learning Commission and serves on NASA EPSCoR and Space Grant Consortium. Dr. Meadors also served as a STEM evaluator for No Child Left Behind. She is a true "Rocket Scientist" with research experience in hybrid rockets through NASA and has conducted research at Lawrence Livermore National Lab, Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory, and other facilities.
