South Carolina's unrivaled college experience has been sought by students, faculty and academic researchers for more than 200 years. Founded in 1801, the university is located in Columbia, the capital of South Carolina.

The University of South Carolina System, led by President Michael Amiridis who is serving as the university's 30th president, and has eight campuses in 20 locations that together serve more than 52,000 students.

All conference sessions and meals will take place at the University of South Carolina in the Swearingen Engineering Center.

Among Congaree Vista's Historic Sights
Find the hotel in Congaree Vista, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Within meters of restaurants, the Metropolitan Convention Center, and Colonial Life Arena. SC State House is a half-mile away and Riverbanks Zoo and Garden is three miles from their door. They offer an outdoor pool, Ruth's Chris Steak House, and a 24-hour snack shop, to name a few.

Cancellation Policy: A credit card will be needed to confirm your reservation. The individual reservation lodging deposit is fully refundable up to Two (2) days (48 hours) prior to the arrival date. Reservations cancelled after 48 hours prior to the arrival date will be charged one (1) night’s lodging, tax, and fees. After check-in, reservations are fully non-refundable. No-shows, delayed arrivals, and early departures are considered cancellations.

Parking: Self-Parking is available for $18.00 per day with in and out privileges in the connected city owned parking garage. There are 2 entrances to the parking garage, one on Pendleton Street and one on Park Street. Valet parking is available for $26 per day.

Taxi pick-up is on the lower level of the terminal in the baggage claim area outside the doors to the left of the rental car counters.

The COMET
The COMET, Central Midlands Transit, operates Monday through Saturday.

The COMET is a service of the Central Midlands Regional Transit Authority and provides countywide public transit services on 34 fixed routes, five ReFlex services, vanpool service for commuters, subsidy programs with Uber and Lyft and DART for transportation to grocery stores and at night, ADA complementary paratransit service throughout Richland and portions of Lexington Counties and eight Blue Bike bikeshare stations in Downtown Columbia. The COMET transports approximately 2.8 million passenger trips a year on a fleet of more than 80 buses, vans and trolleys. Transit services are provided under contract with RATP Dev USA, Inc., Enterprise Holdings, Lyft, Uber and Bewegen.
