Announcements
ASME will hold open help center calls to offer on the spot technical support for the new tool.
Updated: 6/24/2020
The current situation related to COVID-19 presents challenges to our daily lives on both the professional and the private sides. Just as we are all affected by this situation, so is ASME, including the PVP Division. Unfortunately, the 2020 Pressure Vessels and Piping Conference cannot be held as planned due to mandated travel restrictions and limits on the number of people who may gather together.
ASME regrets having to make this change, but the safety of our participants, volunteers, and staff is our utmost priority. Therefore, we will be holding 2020 PVP as a Virtual Conference that will include online presentations to bring the strong connection and content of 2020 PVP to you. Details of this offering are being finalized and will be communicated in the very near future.
Regardless, ASME will publish the papers from 2020 PVP through our usual channels, as has been communicated since this pandemic started to unfold. We are working to finalize the details of paper publication and will share them as soon as we can.
We will provide updates on this website with options to participate in the 2020 Pressure Vessels and Piping Conference soon.
Thank you for your understanding. We hope you will join us at the 2020 PVP Virtual Conference.
Regards,
The 2020 PVP Conference Organizing Committee and ASME
Join us virtually for the ASME Pressure Vessels & Piping 2020 Conference (PVP). More than 200 papers and panel sessions are planned, including tutorials specially designed for students and early career-engineers as well as industry exhibits.
The ASME Pressure Vessels and Piping 2020 Virtual Conference promises to be the outstanding international technical forum for participants to further their knowledge-base by being exposed to diverse topics, and exchange opinions and ideas both from industry and academia in a variety of topics related to Pressure Vessel and Piping technologies for the Power and Process Industries. The PVP Conference is a great place to exchange ideas and to meet colleagues as we all work to create and advance Pressure Vessels and Piping technologies for our global community of practice. The PVP Conference is a recognized forum for fruitful exchange of ideas with participants from over 40 countries in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia, the Americas, and the Oceania islands.
The ASME Pressure Vessels & Piping Division is the primary sponsor of the PVP-2020 Conference, with additional participation by the ASME Nondestructive Evaluation, Diagnosis and Prognosis Division (NDPD).
