ASME will hold open help center calls to offer on the spot technical support for the new tool.

PLEASE NOTE: ASME has not engaged any housing bureaus to represent or sell ICNMM hotel guest room blocks. Please make your hotel reservations directly through the ICNMM hotel links.

The ASME 2020 18th International Conference for International Conference is collocated with the ASME’s Fluids Engineering Division Summer Meeting (FEDSM) and the Summer Heat Transfer Conference (SHT). The conference is intended to provide a platform for researchers to exchange information and identify research needs in this emerging area encompassing many engineering, basic sciences, and bio-medical disciplines. Both fundamental aspects including transport studies at the nano, micro, and mini scales as well as practical applications including thermal management, energy conversion, lab on a chip, fuel cells, micro-heat exchangers, and biomedical devices will be covered. We’ve implemented “Lightning Talks” for Poster Presenters, and we will have many jointly shared tracks and sessions with the Heat Transfer Division and Fluids Engineering Division.

We are soliciting submissions for technical paper publication, oral presentation (no publication), and poster presentations (no publication). Similar to last year, oral presentations and posters will only require an abstract submission of 400-650 words. Technical paper publications will require an abstract and an additional submission of a full-length paper in PDF format for peer-review.  Abstracts for posters should be submitted exclusively to track 15 (but can be duplicates of abstracts submitted as presentation-only or technical paper publication).

Deadlines for abstract submissions are:

December 2, 2019 for full-length papers
April 17, 2020 for presentation-only and poster
We would like to emphasize that these deadlines are firm; there will be no extension of the submission deadlines!

Please also note that – similar to other ASME conferences – ICNMM is introducing a limit on first author or presenting author presentations to 4. This includes full paper and presentation-only submissions, but excludes poster submissions. This means a single attendee can have a maximum of 4 oral presentations. The number of total submissions (as non-presenter) is not limited, i.e., a principal investigator can be co-author on more than 4 abstracts, as long as their students or postdocs are attending the conference and giving the presentation.
