On Thursday, September 17, attendees have the exclusive opportunity to go behind the scenes at some of the region's premier automotive and energy testing facilities. Transportation to and from the venue is provided for all registered participants. Attendees must present their conference badge to board transportation.

Space is strictly limited for each tour and advanced registration is required.

The technical tour at the University of Michigan, Mcity will provide attendees with an introduction to the University of Michigan EV Center and the Mcity facility, followed by a ride-and-drive event at the Mcity track featuring several hybrid and electric vehicles. This experience is designed to give participants a first-hand look at the university's mobility research environment, advanced vehicle technologies, and Mcity's unique capabilities for connected, automated, and electrified vehicle testing.

Join us for an exclusive technical tour of GM’s Pontiac Performance and Racing Center, where conference attendees will experience a rare behind-the-scenes look at the people, processes, and facilities that bring GM’s high performance propulsion systems to life. Guests will rotate through three featured areas: engine build, dyno labs, and the machine shop, each offering a unique perspective on how advanced powertrains are conceived, crafted, tested, and refined. From precision manufacturing to rigorous validation, this tour highlights the depth of engineering expertise and hands-on development that drive GM’s performance and racing capabilities.
