Held on the Monday preceding the conference, this gathering provides a relaxed and welcoming setting to connect with colleagues, meet new peers, and reconnect with familiar faces. It’s an ideal opportunity to spark new collaborations, strengthen professional relationships, and schedule meetings ahead of the technical program. Join fellow engineers, researchers, and thought leaders from around the world who are shaping the future of internal combustion and transportation technologies.

During the Welcome Reception, attendees are also invited to explore the technical poster presentations. Wednesday, September 16 | 5:30pm – 7:00pm
Awards presented during the banquet include ASME Society-Level Awards, new ASME Transportation Systems Division Awards, ASME TSD ICE Technical Community Awards, the Undergraduate Student Research Competition, and several additional conference honors, highlighting achievement at every career stage.

ASME DRIVN will host daily morning and afternoon coffee breaks. These blocks of time are meant to "re-charge" attendees and presenters by providing a more relaxed atmosphere to interact with one another. Many use this time to network, arrange evening plans with colleagues, and exchange contact information over coffee.
