ASME DRIVN 2026 warmly invites all conference delegates to kick off the event at the Welcome Reception, featuring complimentary light refreshments. Held on the Monday preceding the conference, this gathering provides a relaxed and welcoming setting to connect with colleagues, meet new peers, and reconnect with familiar faces. It’s an ideal opportunity to spark new collaborations, strengthen professional relationships, and schedule meetings ahead of the technical program. Join fellow engineers, researchers, and thought leaders from around the world who are shaping the future of internal combustion and transportation technologies.

During the Welcome Reception, attendees are also invited to explore the technical poster presentations. Discover the latest research and innovations across the engine, propulsion, and mobility engineering fields while engaging directly with fellow researchers and industry professionals in an informal, interactive setting.

Tuesday, September 15 | 6:00pm – 7:30pm
WICE MoVE is an organization that aims to increase the recognition and representation of engineers within the energy to power field by championing the inclusion of women and all technical individuals from a wide range of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.

If you are looking to grow your career, make valuable industry connections, and be inspired by experienced professionals, don't miss the Women in Internal Combustion Engines, Mobility, Vehicles, and Energy (WICE MoVE) Mentoring & Networking Reception – a dynamic event designed to empower, connect, and elevate women and allies in the IC engine community.

This is a ticketed event to promote meaningful conversation, mentorship, and professional networking. Whether you're a student, early-career professional, or industry veteran, this is your chance to engage with leaders in the field, gain career insights, and expand your network in a welcoming, supportive environment.

Complimentary refreshments will be provided to attendees who have registered for the reception.

Tickets may be purchased directly through the registration portal.

Agenda forthcoming.

Wednesday, September 16 | 5:30pm – 7:00pm
ASME DRIVN 2026 will celebrate excellence across the transportation community during the Honors & Awards Banquet. This distinguished evening will recognize remarkable individuals whose contributions have advanced innovation, research, and leadership within the transportation division. Awards presented during the banquet include ASME Society-Level Awards, ASME Internal Combustion Engine Awards, the Undergraduate Student Research Competition, and several additional conference honors, highlighting achievement at every career stage.

DRIVN will host daily morning and afternoon coffee breaks. These half-hour blocks of time are meant to "re-charge" attendees and presenters by providing a more relaxed atmosphere to interact with one another. Many use this time to network, arrange evening plans with colleagues, and exchange contact information over coffee.
