Alireza Mofidi

Alireza Mofidi joined the Westinghouse Electric Company as Senior Thermal Hydraulic Design Engineer in 2019. He holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Iowa. Westinghouse Electric Company is the world’s leading supplier of safe, innovative nuclear technology and is shaping the future of carbon-free energy solutions. At Westinghouse, Alireza is responsible for the development and application of nuclear fuel design and analysis methodologies. His design and analysis works include a wide range of physical phenomena, including Thermal-Hydraulic, Heat Transfer, and Two-Phase Flow.
