Dr. David A. Guerra-Zubiaga

Dr. David A. Guerra-Zubiaga has 25 years of experience in New Technology Introduction with a focus on product design and manufacturing engineering. He obtained a Ph.D. degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Loughborough University, England in 2004. He is a Mechanical Engineer with two master's degrees from Tecnologico de Monterrey, Monterrey Campus in Mexico: majoring in Manufacturing Systems in 1996 and majoring in Mechanical Engineering Design in 1992. He has led important international industrial projects with 15 million USD as total research income gained. He published 2 patents, 1 book, 60 international papers, and he directed 25 postgraduate theses. Dr. Guerra-Zubiaga has served as associate editor (North America) for the International Journal of Computer Integrated Manufacturing since 2011. Dr. Guerra-Zubiaga is an ASME member since 2016 serving as a topic organizer for ASME-IMECE on the advanced manufacturing track. Today, Dr. Guerra-Zubiaga is Assistant Professor in Mechatronics Engineering at Kennesaw State University, Georgia, USA.
