Hayley Brown is the Mill & Forging Technology Manager of Steel Founders' Society of America (SFSA), which is an association of steel foundries that have collaborated to develop technology since WWII. Hayley has spent most of her career as a validation and design engineer for Caterpillar and joined SFSA to develop a design methodology to facilitate the use of new products and designs. Her role in the Steel Performance Initiative is to improve understanding of the performance of complex parts made from real materials with local variations like AM or cast parts.
