Joseph R. Smith

Joseph Smith is currently the Director of the Mechanical and Aerospace Division at SC Solutions. He has over 20 years of experience spanning spacecraft, aerospace development, and experimental aerodynamics in top level motorsport.

Prior to SC Solutions Mr. Smith worked as a Senior Project Manager for Quartus Engineering, as Head of Aerodynamics for Michael Waltrip Racing and as a Structural Analyst and Design Engineer for ATK Space Systems. Earlier in his career he worked at Swift Engineering with their Champ Car program and at the Jaguar F1 team as an Aerodynamics Engineer.
