Dr. Yunye Shi is an Assistant Professor at the department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC). Before joining UTC, she was an Assistant Professor at St. Ambrose University in Iowa. Dr. Shi received her PH.D. from the University of Iowa (2016), and MSc and BSc from the Huazhong University of Science and Technology in China. She teaches courses in thermal-fluid sciences and conducts research in biomass conversion technologies, biorenewable energy utilization, and techno-economic analysis of energy systems.
