Directions from within Europe
The Netherlands is well connected with cities like London, Paris, Brussels, and Frankfurt via high-speed rail services, such as Eurostar, Thalys, and ICE. We recommend taking high speed trains from international destinations to Rotterdam Central station, then connecting to The Hague Central from Rotterdam. Trains from Rotterdam to The Hague Central are frequent, fast, and convenient. See directions below from The Hague Central to The World Forum, below.

Directions from International Locations
The Hague is very well connected to Amsterdam Schiphol airport (airport code AMS). We recommend taking a direct train from Schiphol to the Hague Central station. This train departs directly from within the Schiphol terminal building and is fast (about 30 minutes) and frequent (departing every 15 minutes). The most current information about train connections within the Netherlands can be found on this website or on the app. See directions below from The Hague Central to The World Forum, below.
We recommend flying to Schiphol and taking the train to the Hague; however, taxis are also available. A taxi from Schiphol to the Hague costs approximately €70-€80, and a taxi from the Rotterdam-The Hague airport costs approximately €55-€80 when booked in advance.
Directions from The Hague Central Station
The Hague Central Station is 4.5 km from The World Forum, so a taxi can be found at reasonable cost. If you want to continue on public transport, then consider one of the following options:
- Take tram line 17 and get off at the Kunstmuseumstop
- From the Centrum tram stop (800 m away), take tram line 1. Get off at the World Forum stop
- From the bus platform, take bus number 24 Kijkduin. Get off at the Kunstmuseumstop
- Take bus 28 DH Zuiderstrandand get off at the World Forum (West) stop

Driving Directions
From Utrecht/Amsterdam: Follow the A12 towards The Hague. The A12 turns into the Utrechtsebaan. Follow this to the end. At the traffic lights turn left. You will then drive on the Zuid Hollandlaan. At the end, turn right at the traffic lights. This is the Koningskade, which turns into the Raamweg. You drive under the viaduct and then immediately turn right along the bend onto the Hubertus Viaduct. This results in the Prof. B.M. Telderswegand then turns into Johan de Wittlaan. Follow the World Forum signs and then park in the underground parking garage.
From Amsterdam/Leiden: From the A44 from Amsterdam, follow the signs for Den Haag N44. Just past Wassenaar, take the Den Haag/Scheveningen N14 exit. You continue your way and drive into the Hubertus tunnel. Once you leave the tunnel, continue straight ahead. You drive over the Hubertus Viaduct which leads to the Prof. B.M. Telderswegand then turns into In Johan de Wittlaan. Follow the World Forum signs and then park in the underground parking garage.
From Rotterdam: From the A13, follow the signs for Amsterdam (=A4) at the Ypenburgtraffic circle. At Prins Clausplein follow Den Haag/Voorburg. Drive over the viaduct and follow the signs for The Hague. Then you arrive at the Utrechtsebaan. You further follow the description as indicated above.
Bicycle
Almost all of the Netherlands has safe, convenient, and accessible bike paths, and the Netherlands is well connected to much of Northern Europe. For example, one could cycle from Hamburg to the World Forum in slightly more than 500 km.
