Giancarlo Lenci has 15 years of experience in nuclear power research and engineering. He holds a PhD and MS in Nuclear Science and Engineering from MIT, as well as a BS and MS in Energy Engineering from Sapienza University of Rome. He has worked six years as a senior engineer at Dominion Engineering and is Senior Operations Manager at Metroscope's US office since mid-2022. Across his roles, he has authored 15 EPRI reports including guidance on nuclear plant thermal fatigue, was awarded and performed research for the US DOE ARPA-E, and delivered Metroscope's automated diagnostics software at three nuclear plants. Lenci is an expert in computational fluid dynamics and multiphysics modeling as well as system-level digital twin and fault modeling. He also has experience in experimental fluid mechanics and coding of complex engineering software.
