Vanderbilt University Engineering Science Building
Join us for an engaging half-day experience designed to help students build professional skills, expand their networks, and connect with industry professionals, faculty members, and fellow engineering students.
The ASME Student Summit will take place from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., featuring a networking lunch, interactive career development programming, and the ASME Elevator Pitch Competition. Attendees will participate in four career development sessions focused on professional growth, leadership, communication, and career readiness while building valuable connections with peers, and engineering education leaders.
The ASME Elevator Pitch Competition will be held during the afternoon programming. Participants may present their pitch on a first-come, first-served basis, with no advance scheduling required. Students who are not competing will be able to participate in the career development sessions and networking activities taking place throughout the afternoon.
The Student Summit will conclude at 6:00 p.m., followed by the MEEd conference, Welcome Reception, offering another opportunity to connect with fellow students, speakers, industry representatives, and other engineering professionals. The awards from the Elevator Pitch Competition will be presented during the reception.
Additional details on session topics, speakers, and competition guidelines will be announced soon.
