Experience the unique history and unfolding beauty as you drive through the modern streets of Vancouver. You’ll see renowned sights through Gastown, Chinatown, Granville Island, and Stanley Park. We can’t wait for you to soak up the sights, and find local treasures that will leave you wanting more.
Attendees will meet Monday morning at Registration and check-in with a volunteer with a Yellow shirt on.
Attendees will walk from there approximately 2 minutes to meet the tour bus.
Visit: Stanley Park Totem Poles, and Granville Island.
While on your Vancouver bus tour, see these iconic sights and neighbourhoods along the way including:
- Chinatown - Vancouver's cultural diversity in Canada's largest Chinatown.
- Gastown - Historic original downtown core where Vancouver began.
- Canada Place - Architecturally stunning cruise terminal and convention centre.
- English Bay - Downtown Vancouver's beautiful beachfront community featuring sandy beaches and palm trees.
Friday | June 27th
Stanley Park Birding & Nature Tour | $20/USD per person
Join us for a leisurely nature tour around Stanley Park's Lost Lagoon and the neighboring forest. We will spot birds and other wildlife that calls Stanley Park home, and learn about the unique west coast rainforest ecosystem. Binoculars will be provided for an up-close view of the birds. This tour is led by Else Mikkelsen, a PhD candidate in ornithology who grew up exploring the trails of Stanley Park.
Attire: Comfortable shoes, and a camera or phone charger.
The tours will meet at the Lost Lagoon Nature House, located at the base of Chilco and Alberni Street (see map). There will be three tours:
- 8 am - 10 am
- 11:30am - 12:30pm
- 1pm - 3 pm
