Register by April 1, 2024, to receive the Early Bird rate. Online registration will allow you the opportunity to make changes and additions to your registration as necessary until Wednesday, May 29, 2024.

For authors, you must register with the same email linked to your ASME account/Toolbox Login in order to obtain registration rates applicable to you. Failure to do so will result in a price difference that does not meet your registration level.

You are entitled to present up to two papers on which you are listed as an author. Only an author of a paper is permitted to present that paper. Please be advised that ASME will:

  • Check to ensure all papers have an author registered to present. Notification will be sent to the presenting author of a paper if a non-author is registered and identified as presenting the paper.
  • Check to ensure that an author is not presenting more than two papers.

The ASME Presenter Attendance Policy is such that if a paper is not presented at the conference by an author / co-author of the paper, it will not be published in the official archival proceedings, which are registered with the Library of Congress and abstracted and indexed.

For each Technical Publication and Technical Presentation, a minimum of one author must have a paid registration at the Full Conference Author rate. Student rates do not apply.

Presenting Author Rate is applicable to authors with an accepted paper and must be paid at time of registration.

Member Rate is applicable to a current member of ASME.

Non-Member Rate includes a four-month Free Trial Membership following the Conference. ASME will contact you after the Conference to provide further details.

Student Rate: Student registration rates are only available to undergraduate and graduate students who are enrolled full time and have not yet received their Ph.D. Post-docs cannot register as students.

For each technical publication and technical presentation, a minimum of one author must be registered at the Presenting Author Rate. Student presenters can register at the Student Rate only after another author has registered at the Presenting Author Rate.

Proof of student status is required to confirm the student rate. Proof consists of a copy of the student's identification card or a letter from the institution's registrar verifying student status. Student identification will need to be provided during onsite registration when picking up badge. If identification is not provided, the registration will be changed to Non-Member rate.

One-Day Rate is only available for purchase on-site during the Conference and is applicable to members and non-members attending the Conference for one day. An author cannot register at the one-day rate and present a paper.
