Visa Support for OMAE 2026 Participants
To assist international participants who require a visa to enter Japan, OMAE 2026 has partnered with JTB Global Marketing & Travel, a Japanese travel agency specializing in visa support services. JTB will prepare the required visa documents, including the Letter of Guarantee, and guide applicants through the documentation process.

Please review the key details below to plan your visa application:
- JTB Visa support will open in February 2026
- The permitted stay period for OMAE 2026 visa applications is June 4–15, 2026.
- Visa application fee: JPY 24,000 per participant and is paid directly by the participant to JTB.
- Each participant will apply online through the JTB visa application site. JTB will prepare and send all necessary visa support documents including the Letter of Guarantee.
- Submit your application to your local Embassy in person after March 2, 2026: Applicants must take the documents prepared by JTB, along with their personal documents, to the nearest Japanese embassy or consulate to apply for visa in person. Japanese entry visas are typically valid for three months from issuance, so applying before March 2 is not recommended and there is a risk that your visa may expire before your intended travel date.
- Processing can take 5 business days to up to one month, depending on the embassy and nationality. To ensure enough processing time, participants are strongly encouraged to apply as early as possible in March.
- JTB Visa support submission deadline is May 6, 2026.
