Power Plant Simulator

Siemens will be providing a Combined Cycle training simulator for demonstrations at the Power Conference. The simulator is a medium-high fidelity simulation model of a 2x1 Combined Cycle power utilizing two Siemens SGT6-5000F Gas turbines and a SST6-5000 Steam Turbine. Siemens is providing two operator work stations and a technical trainer to provide demonstrations and answer questions. Sign-ups are available for short training sessions during the technical sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday, July 16th and 17th. The Siemens trainer will also be available throughout the day beyond the technical sessions to provide additional demonstrations and answer questions.

At the Registration page, follow these instructions:

 

1. Click ‘Request Meeting Time’
2. Both simulators are the same, choose either Simulator 1 or 2
3. Select the session time that works for your schedule
4. Select ‘Meeting Request’ under Paper Type
5. Put your name down as the ‘Paper Title’
6. Submit by clicking ‘Finish and Upload File’
