Monday, July 15
8:00AM – 12:00PM
PTC 53 Mechanical and Thermal Energy Storage Systems
Provides uniform test methods, procedures and quantifiable methods for assessing, determining and reporting the performance of mechanical or thermal energy storage systems across varying technology platforms. This applies to systems including but not limited to compressed air, fly wheels, molten salts, or pumped hydro for storing energy mechanically or thermally from any source.
RAP Performance Monitoring
9:00AM – 4:00 PM
Provides guidelines for power plant performance monitoring including optimization of unit and equipment operation via monitoring performance parameters.
RAP Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM)
9:00AM – 5:00 PM
Establish standards and guidelines that provide for the optimization of power plants to enhance reliability, availability and performance, which includes design for operation and design for maintenance.
Tuesday, July 16
PTC 19.5 – Flow Measurement
8:00AM – 5:00 PM
Provides information on the theory, instrumentation, techniques, and procedures for the measurement of the flow of fluids.
PTC 46 – Overall Plant Performance
8:00AM – 5:00 PM
Provides procedures for conducting tests and analyses to determine the overall performance of thermal and electrical power generation and other conversion facilities.
Wednesday, July 17
PTC 46 – Overall Plant Performance
8:00AM – 12:00 PM
Provides procedures for conducting tests and analyses to determine the overall performance of thermal and electrical power generation and other conversion facilities.
PTC 19.5 – Flow Measurement
8:00AM – 12:00 PM
Provides information on the theory, instrumentation, techniques, and procedures for the measurement of the flow of fluids.
PTC 6.2 – Steam Turbines in Combined Cycles
1:00PM – 5:00 PM
Provides procedures for conducting tests and analyses to determine the performance of steam turbines in combined Brayton/Rankine cycles where water is the working fluid. These procedures are applicable to combined cycles power generating facilities with condensing or non-condensing steam turbines, and to induction or extraction steam turbines.
Thursday, July 18
Performance Test Codes Standards Committee
8:00AM – 3:00 PM
Develops codes, supplements and other types of documents, which provide rules and procedures for the planning, preparation, execution, and reporting of results for performance tests and evaluations.
