In celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Fluids Engineering Division (FED) at FEDSM 2026, under the theme "The Future of Fluids," two Rising Stars will be recognized during the anniversary ceremony. These honorees will be early-career professionals in the field of fluids engineering who have earned their Ph.D. within the past ten years and have demonstrated outstanding achievement in research, innovation, or professional contributions to the discipline.
Selection will be based on the following criteria:
- Scholarly publications and citation record
- Impact and influence within industry
- Service to ASME and the FED community
- Prior honors and awards
Each recipient will be invited to deliver a presentation highlighting their distinguished research during the conference on Wednesday July 29, 2026, at 1:35pm in Evergreen B.
