Simerics, Inc.
Simerics, Inc., makes a suite of engineering analysis software, the flagship being the CFD software, Simerics-MP+. The software are used in the automotive, aerospace, marine and fluid power industries. Value propositions include fast (transient, three-dimensional) analysis and solving unusually difficult problems. The suite includes FEA, Optimizer, CAD tool, Templates, Plugins etc. All software are “home grown,” integrated within the same GUI pre- and post-processors. An efficient multi-node, distributed memory MPI parallel solver provides fast and accurate solutions. CAD cleanup is avoided. Model construction, starting with unclean CAD, is completely automated including closing unwanted leak paths, generating a hexahedral mesh, imprinting a thousand or more parts and model setup. Templates reduce the tedium and skills required for building models, minimize model setup time and manage variabilities among users and projects. Example applications include battery, drive unit, gearbox, bearings, electric motors, cooling, lubrication and fuel delivery systems, positive displacement pumps and compressors, valves, heat pumps, heat exchangers, etc.
