Dr. Arun Muley is the Chief Engineer of Integrated Thermal Energy Technology and a Boeing Fellow. He is a Fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineer (ASME) and an internationally recognized thermal management leader. At Boeing, Dr. Muley is leading enterprise level technology strategy development and execution for Boeing business priorities in the areas of Thermal Management, Global Integration of Boeing Additive Manufacturing (BAM), and growth of Energy System capability for the Mechanical System Engineering (MSE). He is responsible for Boeing's technology engagement in SE Asia and global R&D initiatives for Integrated Vehicle Systems of BR&T. His prior positions include R&D Manager at Koch Heat Transfer and Principal Engineer at Honeywell Aerospace. His research is focused on development of next generation integrated thermal management (ITM) and energy system, employing thinwall AM, novel materials, and innovative conformal designs, using thermal performance enhancement and advanced optimization techniques. Dr. Muley has held several professional leadership roles, which include past chair of the Heat Transfer Division and the Process Industries Divisions of ASME. He received his PhD and MS from the University of Cincinnati, and BTech from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Calicut, Kerala, India.
