Dr. Kevin R. Anderson is a professor of mechanical engineering at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. He has been a thermal/fluids/heat transfer engineer in the aerospace sector of industry for 25 years. He holds a PE license in ME in the state of California. He earned his Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from CU Boulder in 1998 in the area os DNS of Turbulent Non-premixed combustion. Dr. Anderson joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona in 1999. Dr. Anderson teaches a wide variety of undergraduate and graduate level courses. He has over 150 peer reviewed publications on applied thermal/fluids research. He is currently Executive Committee member at large of the ASME Fluids Engineering Division (FED). He has chaired FED FASTC and GSS Technical Committee, and is an associate editor of ASME Journal of Solar Energy Engineering - Including Wind Energy and Building Energy Conservation.
