Dr. Wenbin Yu is a Professor in the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics at Purdue University. He also serves as the Director for the Composites Design and Manufacturing HUB (cdmHUB.org) and the CTO for AnalySwift LLC. His expertise is in multiscale structural mechanics with applications to composite/smart materials. He has authored/co-authored 130+ journal papers and 140+ refereed conference papers and developed ten computer codes that are being used by thousands in government labs, universities, research institutes, and companies. He has mentored 24 PhD students and 8 MS students with thesis. His research has been funded by both federal agencies and private industry. He is an ASME Fellow and AIAA Associate Fellow. He serves on the editorial board for seven international journals.
