Dr. Heejin Cho is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Co-Director of the Center for Energy Research (CER) at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). His current research interests focus on energy and environmental systems, specifically design and optimization of sustainable energy technologies. Dr. Cho has been PI or Co-PI on multiple funded projects (> $18M) from US DOE, US DoD, USDA, NASA, US national laboratories, and industries. He is a Fellow of American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). He has over 120 scholarly publications in the field of energy and environmental systems. He serves as a Section Chief Editor of Energy Reports (Elsevier Journal) and an Associate Editor of ASME Journal of Energy Resources Technology and Journal of Thermal Science and Engineering Applications.
