The ASME Rising Stars of Mechanical Engineering Celebration and Showcase at the International Mechanical Engineering Congress and Exposition (IMECE) is a prestigious event designed to bring together under one event and honor early-career researchers who have received recognition through NSF CAREER, ONR YIP, AFOSR YIP, DARPA YFA, NIH New Innovator Awards and other agency recognition.
As part of the Rising Stars of Mechanical Engineering Showcase, each invited participant is formally recognized as an ASME Rising Star. This designation acknowledges early-career researchers who have demonstrated exceptional impact through prestigious external honors and groundbreaking contributions to the field.
The ASME Rising Star Digital Certificate serves as an official recognition of these achievements, highlighting the significance of recipients’ work and their role as emerging leaders in mechanical engineering. Presented during the event, the certificate marks a moment of recognition within a distinguished community of peers, program leaders, and collaborators.
