Dinner at the Stuttgart Oktoberfest (Cannstatter Volksfest)

Enjoy a traditional German Oktoberfest! For almost 200 years the Cannstatter Volksfest has been held in the state capital of Baden Württemberg. The festival annually attracts close to four million visitors drawn by the special fair atmosphere, Oktoberfest tents, a colorful flea market and many spectacular attractions. Rich in tradition, the Cannstatter Volksfest is not only the biggest festival in Baden Württemberg but it is also one of the biggest funfairs in the whole of Europe.

The optional limited capacity conference dinner will be a real Oktoberfest experience in the "Fürstenberg" tent at the Volksfest, no speeches, no formalities, just friends and colleagues enjoying the Oktoberfest atmosphere. Enjoy local Bavarian and Swabian dishes while listening and dancing to live Oktoberfest music, its’ all part of an unforgettable Volksfest evening!

Tables will be reserved for ICEM23 dinner ticket holders (for an additional fee) inside the tent and includes one way transportation to the festival by chartered bus, entry into the tent, two drinks, and a voucher for a dinner. Participants are free to depart at whatever time they wish and take the train (S-Bahn) or metro (U-Bahn) back to ICS. The "Cannstatter Wasen" metro stop is located 250 metres from the tent, and 500 metres from the ICS. The metro runs until 1 am and costs 3,70 € for one ticket.
